CUSTOMER APPLICATION, NOMINATION MANAGEMENT & PROFESSIONAL PARTNER DISCLAIMER

1. About INVIQ
  • INVIQ Wealth (“INVIQ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a digital technology platform designed to help customers organise, record, manage and monitor information relating to financial assets, nominations, liabilities, documents and family wealth continuity.
  • Depending on the services selected, INVIQ may also facilitate access to independent professional partners such as Financial Professionals, Chartered Accountants, Advocates and other service providers.
  • INVIQ's technology platform does not by itself replace the legal, regulatory or operational processes of banks, insurers, mutual funds, brokers, government authorities or other financial institutions.
2. Nomination Management Disclaimer

INVIQ may allow customers to record and manage nomination-related information for assets such as:

  • Bank accounts
  • Fixed deposits
  • Mutual funds
  • Insurance policies
  • Securities/investments
  • Other eligible financial assets
  • The nomination information recorded on INVIQ is intended to help customers organise and maintain their records.
  • Unless expressly integrated with and authorised by the relevant institution, entering or updating nomination information on INVIQ does not automatically constitute registration, modification or acceptance of a nomination with the concerned bank, insurer, mutual fund, broker or other institution.
  • Customers may be required to complete the applicable process prescribed by the relevant institution.
3. No Guarantee of Nomination Acceptance

INVIQ does not guarantee that any nomination submitted, recorded, generated or communicated through the platform will be:

recognised by the concerned institution.

The relevant institution's applicable rules, documentation requirements, verification procedures and regulatory requirements will apply.

  • accepted;
  • registered;
  • updated;
  • approved;
  • acted upon; or
4. Nominee Information

The customer is responsible for ensuring that nominee information provided to INVIQ is accurate, complete and current.

This may include:

where applicable INVIQ is not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, outdated or misleading information supplied by the customer.

  • Relationship
  • Date of birth
  • Mobile number
  • Address
  • Percentage/share
5. Nominee Does Not Automatically Mean Beneficial Ownership
  • Recording a person as a nominee should not automatically be interpreted as creating or determining the ultimate beneficial ownership of an asset.
  • The legal effect of a nomination can depend on the type of asset, applicable law, institution-specific rules, succession arrangements and other relevant legal documents.
  • Customers should consult an appropriately qualified Advocate or other legal professional where they require advice regarding succession, inheritance, beneficial ownership or estate planning.
6. INVIQ Customer Application

INVIQ may provide an application/mobile application/web platform through which customers can:

  • Create a profile
  • Add financial assets
  • Record nomination information
  • Store relevant documents
  • Track financial information
  • Maintain family/wealth information
  • Generate reports
  • Receive reminders
  • Organise liabilities
  • Connect with professional Partners
  • Maintain information relating to family wealth continuity
  • The availability of a particular feature may depend on the customer's plan, technical availability, third-party integrations and applicable laws.
7. Third-Party Financial Institutions

INVIQ may provide functionality relating to information obtained from or supplied by third-party institutions.

Such institutions may include:

  • Banks | Insurance Companies | Mutual Fund Platforms | Brokers | NBFCs | Payment Service Providers | Account Aggregators | Other Financial Institutions
  • INVIQ does not control the systems, processing, decisions, policies or availability of such third parties.
  • Accordingly, INVIQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability or uninterrupted operation of third-party information or services.
8. Account Aggregator / Data Access

Where INVIQ uses an authorised data-sharing mechanism or Account Aggregator ecosystem, access to financial information shall be subject to:

  • Applicable technology processes
  • The relevant Account Aggregator's terms
  • The concerned Financial Information Provider's systems
  • Applicable law and regulatory requirements
  • INVIQ does not represent that all financial accounts or asset information will necessarily be available through such integrations.
9. No Transaction Execution Unless Specifically Stated

Unless a particular service expressly provides transaction functionality, INVIQ should not be interpreted as executing:

  • Banking transactions
  • Investment transactions
  • Insurance transactions
  • Securities transactions
  • Loan transactions
  • Asset transfers
  • Nomination registration
  • Claim settlement
  • INVIQ may instead provide information, organisation, workflow, reminders or technology-assisted services.
10. Professional Partner Disclaimer

INVIQ may provide customers access to independent:

  • Financial Professionals
  • For permitted financial planning or related services.
  • Chartered Accountants
  • For taxation, accounting, financial documentation and other professional CA services.
  • Advocates / Legal Professionals
  • For wills, succession, inheritance, nomination-related legal matters, estate planning and other legal services.
  • These professionals are independent Partners unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • INVIQ does not control their professional judgment or guarantee their advice, recommendations or outcomes
11. No Legal, Tax or Investment Advice by INVIQ

Unless specifically provided through an appropriately authorised/qualified professional, information available through INVIQ should not be treated as:

  • Legal advice
  • Tax advice
  • Investment advice
  • Insurance advice
  • Accounting advice
  • Securities advice
  • Succession advice
  • Customers should obtain professional advice where necessary.
12. Wills, Succession & Inheritance

INVIQ may help customers organise information relevant to succession and inheritance.

However:

  • INVIQ does not create, validate, execute or guarantee the legal validity or enforceability of a Will, succession arrangement, nomination or estate plan unless a specific service is expressly provided by an appropriately qualified professional.
  • Customers should consult a qualified legal professional for legal matters relating to wills, succession, inheritance and estate planning.
13. Accuracy of Customer Information

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that information entered into the INVIQ platform is accurate.

Customers should regularly review and update:

  • Financial accounts
  • Investments
  • Insurance policies
  • Nominees
  • Family information
  • Liabilities
  • Contact information
  • Documents
  • Professional details

INVIQ cannot guarantee that customer-entered information remains accurate if the underlying information changes outside the platform.

14. Customer Responsibility After Marriage, Divorce or Other Changes

Customers should review their nomination and wealth-continuity information following significant life or financial events, including:

  • Marriage
  • Divorce
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Death of a nominee
  • Change of address
  • Change of financial assets
  • Change in family circumstances
  • Creation or modification of a Will
  • Acquisition or disposal of significant assets

Where required, customers should separately update records with the relevant institution.

15. Document Storage Disclaimer

Customers should review their nomination and wealth-continuity information following significant life or financial events, including:

  • If INVIQ provides document-upload or document-storage functionality, such functionality is intended for digital organisation and access.
  • Uploading a document does not automatically establish its legal validity, authenticity, execution or acceptance by any authority or institution.
  • Customers should retain original documents where legally or practically required.
16. Reports Generated by INVIQ

INVIQ may generate:

  • Asset reports
  • Nomination reports
  • Family wealth
  • Reminder reports
  • Financial information
  • summaries
  • Document summaries
  • Such reports are intended for information and organisational purposes.

They should not be treated as certified statements, legal opinions, audited financial statements or official records of any third-party institution unless expressly stated.

17. No Guarantee of Financial Outcome

INVIQ does not guarantee:

  • Investment returns
  • Loan approval
  • Insurance claim approval
  • Tax savings
  • Nomination acceptance
  • Asset transfer
  • Inheritance outcome
  • Legal outcome
  • Succession outcome
  • Recovery of assets
  • Third-party processing timelines

  • INVIQ may link to or integrate with third-party applications and websites.
  • INVIQ is not responsible for the independent operation, content, security, availability, policies or services of third-party applications.
  • Customers should review the applicable terms and privacy policies of third-party services before using them.
19. Partner Verification

INVIQ may conduct onboarding or verification of professional Partners.

However:

  • Verification of a Partner's credentials does not constitute a guarantee or warranty of the Partner's future conduct, advice, performance or professional outcome.
  • Customers should independently verify professional registration and credentials where appropriate.
20. Customer Consent

By registering for or using INVIQ, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Information provided by the customer must be accurate.
  • INVIQ is primarily a technology and information-management platform.
  • Nomination information recorded on INVIQ does not automatically change records maintained by third-party institutions unless an authorised integration/process expressly confirms such change.
  • Independent professional Partners provide their own professional services.
  • Third-party institutions may have their own procedures and requirements.
  • Customers should obtain professional advice when required.
  • The customer remains responsible for keeping their information updated.
21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, INVIQ shall not be responsible for losses arising from:

  • Incorrect customer information
  • Failure to update nomination records
  • Failure of third-party institutions
  • Third-party application failures
  • Professional advice independently provided by Partners
  • Delays in third-party processing
  • Rejection of applications by institutions
  • Changes in applicable laws or institutional policies
  • Events beyond INVIQ's reasonable control
  • Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
